She/her
Dr. Eileen Conaway, DO, IBCLC, graduated from the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine 2010 where she fell in love with osteopathic manipulation and the benefit it could offer patients. She then completed an Integrated Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Residency at Florida Hospital East Orlando.
After treating breastfeeding dyads for a few years with osteopathic manipulation, Dr. Conaway knew she needed more lactation knowledge to be best equipped to help families struggling to breastfeed. She became an IBCLC and is also board-certified by the North American Board of Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine (NABBLM-C). She speaks regularly at both state and national conferences on a variety of lactation and osteopathic manipulation topics.

In addition to working with families at Teaching Babies to Nurse, Dr. Conaway is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Osteopathic Manipulation at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lillington, NC.

Dr. Conaway offers combination osteopathic care and lactation support appointments for parents, babies, and parents and babies together.
